Oregon parents could face fines if their kids are caught riding e-bikes, e-scooters

(KPTV) — E-bikes and e-scooters are a popular way to get around town, but in Oregon, riders must be 16 years old. If a child is caught breaking the law, parents can also face a fine, in some cases more than $100, on top of what their child is charged, even if they told their child not to ride the e-scooter.
