Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: August 2026
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to advertising, sponsored content, promotional placements, business promotions, personal listings, commercial partnerships, and other paid services purchased directly from Listing.Press.
Listing.Press is a United States-based independent public information, aggregation, and local information platform.
This Policy should be read together with our Advertising Terms, Advertising & Sponsored Content Policy, and Terms of Use.
Specific written terms contained in an invoice, order confirmation, proposal, insertion order, campaign agreement, or other written agreement may supplement or modify this Policy for a particular transaction.
1. General Refund Principle
Listing.Press aims to handle legitimate refund and cancellation requests fairly and according to the amount of work or advertising service already delivered.
Because many Listing.Press commercial services involve digital publication, campaign preparation, custom formatting, creative work, scheduling, or advertising inventory, refund eligibility may depend on the stage of the order at the time cancellation is requested.
2. Services Covered by This Policy
This Policy may apply to directly purchased services including:
- Local business promotions
- Personal listing promotions
- Sponsored content
- Sponsored local features
- Display advertising
- Promotional placements
- Commercial announcements
- Sponsored event promotion
- Geographically targeted advertising
- Custom advertising packages
- Other paid promotional services provided directly by Listing.Press
3. Third-Party Advertising
This Policy generally does not apply to advertisements purchased directly from independent third-party advertising platforms such as Google Ads or advertisements delivered through Google AdSense.
Transactions between advertisers and independent advertising platforms are subject to the terms, billing rules, and refund procedures of those platforms.
4. Cancellation Before Work Begins
If an Advertiser requests cancellation before Listing.Press has begun meaningful campaign preparation, custom work, publication, scheduling, or other performance of the purchased service, the order may be eligible for a full refund.
Any deduction for unavoidable third-party costs or payment-processing expenses will only be applied where disclosed and permitted by applicable law and payment-provider rules.
5. Cancellation After Work Has Begun
If Listing.Press has already begun performing work related to an advertising order, the order may no longer qualify for a full refund.
Work that may be considered performed includes:
- Advertising review
- Campaign preparation
- Creative formatting
- Graphic preparation
- Sponsored-content preparation
- Technical implementation
- Placement configuration
- Geographic configuration
- Scheduling
- Publication
Where appropriate, Listing.Press may offer a partial refund based on the undelivered portion of the service after accounting for work already completed and non-recoverable costs.
6. Cancellation Before Publication
A campaign canceled before publication may be eligible for a full or partial refund depending on how much preparation has already been completed.
For example, if significant custom creative or sponsored-content work has already been performed, the value of that completed work may be excluded from the refundable amount to the extent permitted by applicable law.
7. Cancellation After Publication
Once advertising, sponsored content, a promoted listing, or another commercial placement has gone live, the delivered portion of the service is generally non-refundable.
Where a campaign includes a defined future duration, Listing.Press may, depending on the applicable order and circumstances, consider:
- A partial refund for an undelivered future portion
- A campaign credit
- A replacement placement
- A shortened or modified campaign
No particular remedy is guaranteed unless expressly stated in the applicable advertising agreement or required by law.
8. Sponsored Content
Sponsored-content projects may involve writing, editing, design, formatting, research, review, technical implementation, or publication work.
Once substantial custom sponsored-content work has been completed, amounts associated with that completed work may be non-refundable.
Once sponsored content has been published, the publication component is generally considered delivered.
If a sponsored-content campaign includes additional future placements or services that have not yet been delivered, those undelivered components may be evaluated separately.
9. Local Business Promotions
Local business promotions may be canceled by contacting Listing.Press.
Refund eligibility depends on whether the promotion has:
- Been reviewed
- Been formatted
- Been scheduled
- Gone live
- Already received part or all of the purchased promotional period
A business promotion that has already completed its purchased promotional period is not ordinarily eligible for a refund solely because the Advertiser did not receive the level of customer response expected.
10. Personal Listings
Personal listing promotions may be subject to the same general principles as business promotions.
A listing may not qualify for a refund merely because:
- An item did not sell
- A buyer did not make contact
- A transaction was not completed
- The listing received fewer views than expected
Listing.Press provides promotional visibility and does not guarantee transaction success.
11. No Performance-Based Refunds
Unless a specific written agreement expressly provides otherwise, refunds are not provided solely because an advertising campaign fails to achieve a particular commercial outcome.
Listing.Press does not generally guarantee:
- Clicks
- Leads
- Sales
- Customers
- Conversions
- Search-engine rankings
- Social media engagement
- Media attention
- Business growth
- Revenue
- Return on investment
Differences between expected and actual commercial performance do not automatically create a right to a refund.
12. Traffic and Impression Estimates
Audience, traffic, impression, reach, click, or engagement figures provided before a campaign are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
Actual performance may vary because of:
- Visitor behavior
- Traffic fluctuations
- Seasonality
- Geographic demand
- Advertising blockers
- Privacy preferences
- Browser restrictions
- Search-engine changes
- Technical conditions
- Other factors outside Listing.Press’s reasonable control
13. Advertiser Delays
An Advertiser is responsible for providing required materials and information within any agreed timeframe.
If a campaign is delayed because the Advertiser fails to provide necessary:
- Text
- Images
- Links
- Approvals
- Business information
- Compliance documentation
that delay does not automatically create a right to a refund.
Listing.Press may attempt to reschedule the campaign where reasonably practicable.
14. Advertiser-Requested Changes
Changes requested after campaign preparation begins may require additional work.
Listing.Press may:
- Accept the requested change
- Charge for substantial additional work
- Extend the preparation period
- Decline a technically unreasonable change
An Advertiser-requested change does not automatically cancel the original order.
15. Duplicate Payments
If an Advertiser is accidentally charged more than once for the same order, Listing.Press will review the transaction.
Verified duplicate payments may be refunded to the original payment method.
Please contact: media@2-bees.com
and provide the relevant transaction or order information.
16. Incorrect Charges
If you believe that you were charged an incorrect amount, please contact Listing.Press promptly.
Please provide:
- Your name or business name
- The relevant order
- The amount charged
- The amount you believe should have been charged
- Relevant transaction information
17. Listing.Press Cancellation
Listing.Press may cancel an order before or during a campaign where reasonably necessary.
Reasons may include:
- Technical inability to provide the service
- Legal concerns
- Advertising policy concerns
- Platform security
- Third-party rights concerns
- Changes to service availability
- Other operational circumstances
If Listing.Press cancels a compliant advertising order for reasons unrelated to Advertiser misconduct, material breach, fraudulent activity, payment failure, or unlawful content, Listing.Press may refund the undelivered portion of the service or provide another appropriate remedy.
18. Rejection Before Publication
If Listing.Press rejects an advertisement before publication and no substantial custom work has been completed, amounts paid for the rejected advertising service will generally be refunded.
Where substantial custom work was specifically commissioned and completed before a later compliance issue became apparent, refund eligibility may depend on the circumstances and applicable agreement.
19. Advertiser Misrepresentation
Refunds may be denied or reduced where Listing.Press suspends or cancels a campaign because the Advertiser materially misrepresented:
- Its identity
- The nature of its business
- The legality of the advertised product or service
- Ownership or licensing of submitted material
- Required regulatory information
- Material advertising claims
Completed work and delivered advertising remain chargeable to the extent permitted by applicable law.
20. Policy Violations
An advertisement may be suspended or removed for material violation of:
- Advertising Terms
- Advertising & Sponsored Content Policy
- Applicable law
- Intellectual property rights
- Platform security rules
- Other applicable Listing.Press policies
Where suspension or removal results from the Advertiser’s violation, Listing.Press is not obligated to refund portions of the service already performed.
Whether any undelivered portion is refundable will depend on the circumstances and applicable law.
21. Copyright or Trademark Complaints
Advertising may be removed while Listing.Press reviews a sufficiently supported copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights-based complaint.
If a claim results from material supplied by the Advertiser without appropriate authorization, Listing.Press may decline to refund completed work or delivered advertising.
If a complaint is determined to be unsupported and the campaign can reasonably continue, Listing.Press may restore, extend, reschedule, or otherwise adjust the campaign where appropriate.
22. Technical Failures Caused by Listing.Press
If a material technical failure within Listing.Press’s reasonable control prevents a directly purchased advertising service from being delivered as agreed, Listing.Press may provide an appropriate remedy.
Depending on the circumstances, the remedy may include:
- An extension of the campaign
- A replacement placement
- Advertising credit
- A partial refund
- A full refund for a service that was not delivered at all
23. Minor Technical Interruptions
Minor interruptions, maintenance periods, temporary outages, or short technical disruptions do not automatically qualify a campaign for a full refund.
Listing.Press may consider the duration and material effect of an interruption when determining whether a remedy is appropriate.
24. Third-Party Service Failures
Listing.Press may depend on third-party services including:
- Hosting providers
- Payment processors
- Content delivery networks
- Email providers
- Analytics providers
- Advertising technology providers
Temporary disruptions caused solely by independent third-party services do not automatically create a right to a refund.
Where a third-party failure materially prevents delivery of a directly purchased service, Listing.Press may nevertheless provide a reasonable adjustment, extension, credit, or refund depending on the circumstances.
25. Force Majeure
Listing.Press may not be able to provide advertising services during circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include:
- Natural disasters
- Severe weather
- War
- Civil disruption
- Government action
- Internet infrastructure failures
- Major cyberattacks
- Widespread hosting failures
- Other extraordinary events beyond reasonable control
Listing.Press may extend, reschedule, credit, modify, or cancel affected campaigns as reasonably appropriate.
26. Recurring Advertising Services
If Listing.Press offers recurring advertising or subscription-based promotional services, the specific recurring terms presented at purchase will apply.
Unless otherwise stated, cancellation of a recurring service generally prevents future renewals but does not automatically create a refund for a billing period that has already begun or been substantially delivered.
Any automatic-renewal service will be subject to applicable United States federal and state law.
27. Promotional Credits
Listing.Press may occasionally provide promotional credits, complimentary extensions, or other non-cash campaign benefits.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- Promotional credits have no cash value
- Promotional credits are not redeemable for cash
- Unused promotional credits may expire under the terms under which they were issued
28. Discounted Packages
If a refund is approved for part of a discounted multi-service or bundled package, the refundable amount may be calculated based on the services actually delivered and the terms of the applicable package.
A partial cancellation does not necessarily entitle the Advertiser to retain the original bundle discount on the remaining services.
29. Refund Method
Approved refunds will ordinarily be returned to the original payment method where reasonably possible.
Listing.Press may use another appropriate method where:
- The original payment method is unavailable
- The payment processor requires another method
- The parties agree to another refund method
- Applicable law requires another procedure
30. Refund Processing Time
Once Listing.Press approves and issues a refund, the time required for the funds to appear may depend on the payment processor, financial institution, card network, bank, and payment method involved.
Listing.Press does not control processing delays occurring after an approved refund has been transmitted to an independent payment provider.
31. Currency and Exchange Rates
Refunds are generally processed in the currency of the original transaction where supported by the payment provider.
If currency conversion occurred, the amount ultimately received by the customer may be affected by:
- Exchange-rate changes
- Bank conversion rates
- Card-network rules
- Independent financial-institution fees
Listing.Press does not control exchange rates applied independently by banks or payment providers.
32. Taxes
Refund treatment for taxes will depend on the applicable tax law, transaction, jurisdiction, and payment system.
Where Listing.Press collected a tax that must be refunded with an eligible canceled transaction, it will be handled as required by applicable law.
33. Chargebacks
If you believe there is a billing error, unauthorized charge, duplicate transaction, or other legitimate payment issue, please contact Listing.Press before initiating a chargeback where reasonably practicable.
Billing & Refund Contact
Nothing in this Policy limits rights available under applicable payment-card rules, banking rules, or consumer-protection law.
Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in suspension of advertising services or refusal of future commercial orders.

- Whether custom work has been completed
- Whether third-party expenses have been incurred
- Whether Listing.Press failed to provide the agreed service
- Whether the Advertiser violated applicable policies
- Whether specific campaign terms apply
37. No Automatic Approval
Submission of a refund request does not automatically mean that a refund will be approved.
Listing.Press will review the request based on this Policy, the applicable advertising order, work already performed, and applicable law.
38. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Policy is intended to eliminate, restrict, or waive any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable United States federal or state law.
Where mandatory law provides a customer with greater rights than this Policy, the applicable law will control.
39. Business Customers
Many Listing.Press advertising services may be purchased for business or commercial purposes.
Specific business-to-business advertising agreements may contain additional terms concerning:
- Cancellation deadlines
- Minimum commitments
- Non-refundable production costs
- Advertising inventory reservations

Those specific written terms may supplement this general Policy.
40. Changes to This Policy
Listing.Press may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy for future orders to reflect changes in:
- Advertising products
- Payment systems
- Commercial practices
- Applicable law
- Service availability
The current version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
Material changes will not retroactively alter an already accepted advertising order except where required by law or mutually agreed.
41. United States-Based Service
