Listing.Press is a United States-based independent public information, aggregation, and local information platform.
These Community Guidelines apply to comments, community submissions, local notices, photographs, reports, business information, personal listings, event submissions, corrections, and other material submitted by users through Listing.Press.
Our objective is to maintain a useful, lawful, reliable, and community-focused information environment while allowing members of the public to contribute relevant local information.

1. Community Participation

If you personally witnessed an event, you may identify your submission as firsthand information.
Users should not falsely claim to have personally witnessed something that they learned about from another person, website, publication, social media account, or other source.
5. Developing Events
Information relating to emergencies, accidents, public safety incidents, severe weather, transportation disruptions, or other developing events can change quickly.
Users should avoid presenting uncertain or preliminary information as confirmed fact.
Where appropriate, Listing.Press may:
- Delay publication
- Request additional verification
- Label information as unconfirmed
- Update the submission
- Remove inaccurate information
6. Emergency Information
Listing.Press is not an emergency service.
Community submissions should not be used as a substitute for contacting emergency services or appropriate authorities.
Users should not submit knowingly false emergency warnings, evacuation orders, missing-person alerts, public safety instructions, or similar communications.
For immediate threats to life, health, safety, or property, contact the appropriate emergency services or competent public authorities.
7. Respectful Participation
Community participation should remain relevant to the subject and should not be used primarily to target, intimidate, or harass other people.
Listing.Press may restrict or remove content involving:
- Credible threats of violence
- Unlawful harassment
- Targeted intimidation
- Encouragement of violence
- Repeated abusive targeting of an individual
- Malicious publication of private information
8. Hate and Unlawful Discrimination
Listing.Press may remove or restrict content that unlawfully threatens, harasses, or discriminates against people.
Discussion of controversial topics, public affairs, historical events, policies, organizations, or public statements is not automatically prohibited merely because it is critical or unpopular.
Context, legality, public interest, and the nature of the content may be considered when moderation decisions are made.
9. Personal Information and Doxxing
Users should not publish highly sensitive or private personal information about another person without an appropriate lawful and legitimate reason.
Users should generally avoid submitting:
- Private home addresses
- Personal telephone numbers
- Private email addresses
- Government identification numbers
- Financial account information
- Passwords or login credentials

- Precise private location information
- Other highly sensitive private information
Information contained in legitimate public records or relevant public-interest reporting may be evaluated differently depending on the circumstances and applicable law.
10. Children and Minors
Users should exercise particular care when submitting information, photographs, or identifying details concerning minors.
Listing.Press may restrict or remove material involving minors where publication presents privacy, exploitation, safety, or legal concerns.
Users should not submit sexualized, exploitative, or otherwise unlawful material involving minors.
11. Copyright
Users may only submit material that they have the lawful right to provide.
Do not upload photographs, videos, articles, graphics, documents, or other copyrighted works belonging to another person or organization unless you have appropriate permission or another lawful basis.
Providing a source credit does not automatically create permission to reproduce copyrighted material.

12. Photographs and Media
If you submit photographs, videos, graphics, or other media, you represent that you have the rights or authority reasonably necessary to provide the material for the intended use.
Users should not submit media that:
- Was unlawfully obtained
- Violates another person’s copyright
- Contains unlawful private surveillance material
- Was materially manipulated in a deceptive manner
- Creates an unjustified safety or privacy risk
13. Graphic and Disturbing Material
Listing.Press may restrict or remove graphic or disturbing material.
Community contributors should avoid submitting unnecessary:
- Graphic injury imagery
- Images of deceased persons
- Extreme violence
- Graphic accident scenes
- Other highly disturbing material
Where material has genuine public-interest relevance, Listing.Press may consider whether a less graphic alternative can communicate the necessary information.
14. Illegal Content
Users may not use Listing.Press to submit or promote content that is unlawful under applicable law.
This may include content that:
- Facilitates fraud
- Contains credible unlawful threats
- Facilitates illegal transactions
- Promotes unlawful exploitation
- Contains malicious software
- Infringes intellectual property rights
- Facilitates unauthorized access to computer systems
15. Fraud, Scams and Deceptive Conduct
Listing.Press may remove content that appears intended to deceive or defraud users.
Examples may include:
- Fake businesses
- Fraudulent listings
- Impersonation scams
- False payment requests
- Phishing
- Fake giveaways
- Misleading investment or financial schemes
- False claims of affiliation with Listing.Press
16. Impersonation
Users must not intentionally impersonate:
- Another individual
- A business
- A government agency
- An emergency service
- A public authority
- A media organization
- Listing.Press
Parody, commentary, or other lawful expressive uses may be evaluated according to context and applicable law.
17. Business Information
Users submitting business information should make reasonable efforts to ensure that details are accurate and current.

- Opening hours

- Promotional claims
- Availability
Listing.Press does not guarantee the accuracy of every user-submitted business detail.
18. Business Disputes and Reviews
Listing.Press community features should not be used to knowingly publish fabricated accusations against competitors, customers, employees, or businesses.
Users may express lawful opinions and describe genuine experiences, but factual allegations should not knowingly be false.
Listing.Press may request supporting information where serious factual allegations are submitted.
19. Personal Listings
Users submitting personal listings are responsible for ensuring that the listing is lawful, accurate, and not materially misleading.
Users should independently verify buyers, sellers, service providers, and other transaction participants.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Listing.Press is not a party to transactions resulting from user-submitted listings.
20. Commercial Content
Community submission tools should not be used to disguise commercial advertising as ordinary community information.
Where a submission is primarily promotional, Listing.Press may:
- Identify it as promotional material
- Move it to an appropriate listing or advertising area
- Request commercial disclosure
- Reject the submission

Listing.Press may remove or restrict spam.

- Malicious redirect links
22. Bots and Automated Submissions

Listing.Press may use automated systems to detect and restrict abusive submission behavior.
23. Malicious Links and Files

If you discover that information you submitted is materially inaccurate, you are encouraged to notify Listing.Press.
Correction requests may be evaluated under our Corrections Policy.
Providing the exact Listing.Press URL and supporting evidence will generally help us review a correction more efficiently.
27. Editing of Submissions
Listing.Press may edit submissions for purposes including:
- Grammar
- Spelling
- Formatting
- Length
- Clarity
- Headline consistency
- Geographic categorization
- Removal of unnecessary personal information
- Source formatting
- Compliance with platform standards
Editing does not necessarily mean that Listing.Press independently verifies or endorses every statement in the original submission.
28. Moderation
Listing.Press may moderate community content using a combination of:
