Montana Supreme Court upholds conviction of man who ran over Highway Patrol trooper

The Montana Supreme Court upheld Jason Miller's conviction for the attempted homicide of Trooper Lewis Johnson. Attorney General Austin Knudsen announced that the court affirmed Miller's June 2025 conviction, which stemmed from Miller running over and seriously injuring Trooper Johnson in February 2023 in Lincoln County.
