
attorney's office for the Northern District of Illinois on Thursday announced what it called a first-of-its-kind, multiagency enforcement effort that resulted in nearly 500 people being taken off the streets over the past two months. The operation, dubbed "Operation New Dawn," involved 11 federal agencies working together in advance of the July 4 holiday.
