(WTNH) — More than 70,000 Connecticut residents remain without power Sunday morning as officials work to recover from severe thunderstorms that swept through the state on July 4. As of Sunday morning, Eversource reported 70,630 customers without power, including more than 7,000 in New Britain and more than 5,000 in New Canaan.
