Summerlin South Little League’s softball team will play for the West Region championship Thursday after defeating Southern California 5-0 on Wednesday. A day after letting a slim lead get away in the sixth inning of a heartbreaking winners’ bracket semifinal loss, Summerlin South starting pitcher Raelyn Lingenfelter was determined on Wednesday not to let it happen again.
