– Wichita State Athletics was well represented at the 28th annual Greater Wichita Sports Banquet, as current and former Shockers were recognized for excellence both on and off the field. Five members of the Shocker family received some of the evening's highest honors, highlighted by Wichita State softball standout Kinzey Woody and men's basketball standout Kenyon Giles earning the event's top collegiate athlete awards.
