Nashville marginally cuts local grocery tax in final $3.8B budget

Nashville's $3.8 billion city includes a reduced grocery tax and slightly more funding for eviction protections and affordable housing, and restored funding for the Office of Entertainment. The council approved a revised version of the mayor’s proposal Tuesday night.
